Soap For Sensitive Skin

As a degreed chemical engineer, I have had the unique opportunity to work in many types of industry, and learn vast amounts about manufacturing. Throughout my career I have had some exposures to harmful chemicals that have taken their toll on my overall wellbeing. This resulted in me learning more about what is in things we buy every day and use.

 In my learning journey, I discovered that many of the daily products I was using was exposing me to harsh chemicals that cause health issues and sensitivities.

 After years of trial and error using "natural" products, I decided it was time to make my own! 

With my background in chemistry, I saw the challenge and decided to do something about it.

 Gentle Scent Soaps was an idea that came out of frustrations with the beauty industry and a need to find products that were simple and less toxic.  

Our name was born out of the need to find bath products without strong scents and chemicals; something Gentle. 

As someone who suffers from sensitivities to chemicals and perfumes, it was important to craft soap recipes that cleaned without causing harm.
